My boy has discovered girlfriends. Yes, it is true. He has pretty much been a boyfriend to every girl in his class now. Thankfully, the relationships usually last no longer than the time they spend in the imagination station, but still - he's only 5!

I asked him what it meant to be boyfriend and girlfriend and his response was "we love each other" lol I also asked them if they kissed and the absolute look of horror and the instant "NO!" was more than clear that he is still pretty innocent :)

The other day he shared with me that he and Jayden had been dating, but they had broken up. I asked why hadn't he told me they were dating and he said "because you would tease me!" Boy -does he know me! I also asked him why they broke up and he said "because she thought the other boys were funnier!" Poor baby!

He wasn't too upset though, because he was already dating Alexa again.

Hunter is cracking me up with his obsession of Pink's song - So What! Hunter has never really noticed songs or had a preference for songs (well except for his Ice, Ice Baby phase) and so to hear him get into this song is hilarious.

Dane has even joined the crowd of singing the song.

It works for me though - I LOVE that song!

Poop Bubbles

LMAO!

I was helping Hunter blow his nose today and he tooted at the same time. Then he said, "Don't worry mom - that was just some poop bubbles" lol

Well, then - you know you never laugh at a boy who farts because it never stops so we dealt with "poop bubbles" for about an hour.... lol

This reminds of of when Hunter was about 2 1/2 and he had farted and I told him "You better not fart again!" and that boy bent over and was trying to fart with all his might and...

I bet you know where this is going, don't cha?

I saw the turd fly out and fill his undies. I was dying laughing. He was mortified - seriously, mortified.

School Picture Day - The day that most mom's sit at home and HOPE that their children will smile good and look nice. The anticipation subsides until you get that envelope... You slowly flip the envelope over and *fingers crossed* hope it is good.

I can not express in words how impressed I am with how much more academic Hunter has become. We made the decision to place him in Young 5's vs. Kindergarten this year b/c we just 'knew' he wasn't ready for Kindergarten. I know we made the right decision because he loves his teacher, his classmates and since the level of teaching is a little less intense, he has really come to enjoy going to school. He loves to draw and write 'words'. This is what the paper will say:

APTWXOVZ

and he will ask "Mama, what does this say?" :) I alway say some crazy non-word to make him laugh. But this is such an improvement because last year in pre-school he wasn't into it at all.

He is also drawing people with arms/legs/fingers/toes (sometimes big boobs -depends on the person)

He writes his name perfect now - I will have to take a pic and upload it for you all :)

His birthday is in 5 days! 5 days til he is 5!

Hunter is my baby. He was my first born and a dream come true. He was born on October 23, 2003 - about 14 months after we were married. He was a FAT FAT FAT baby and has since outgrown his chubby-ness and now is skinny-minny.

We are getting ready to celebrate Hunter's 5th birthday and the thought of it makes me want to cry... I feel like he is growing up way too fast!
